predictprotein software package provides suite of protein sequence analysis tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install predictprotein
predictprotein is installed in your system.
Make ensure the predictprotein package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep predictprotein *
You will get with predictprotein package name, version, architecture and description in a table
